Ice and Fire is a Minecraft server themed around the popular series Game of Thrones, specifically set in the fictional world of Westeros. Players have the opportunity to either survive independently or join/create noble houses, becoming involved in various events that revolve around the battle for the Iron Throne. This edition of the server, compatible with version 1.20.1, promotes an immersive experience of medieval roleplay through the use of a medieval factions plugin, allowing players to create original houses or recreate existing ones from the Game of Thrones universe.
The server features a meticulously crafted map of Westeros, with ongoing construction of significant castles. Players are encouraged to develop their houses through player-versus-environment (PVE) activities, but they will also have chances to participate in larger player-versus-player (PVP) and PVE events where they can gain recognition and rise through the ranks, potentially becoming knights or lords. Alliances between houses can be formed, or conflicts can arise as players vie for dominance and control of key strategic locations in their quest to install a new king on the Iron Throne. To ensure a respectful and enjoyable experience, griefing is prohibited, and players’ bases will be protected.
