Minecraft Bees is an 18+ semi-vanilla Minecraft server running version 1.20.1, which was launched in mid-July. The server fosters a welcoming environment for players of all backgrounds, including those in the LGBTQ+ community, aiming to create a small, friendly community where players can connect and enjoy the game together. It is open to players of all skill levels, and while voice chat channels are available for interaction, they are not mandatory for gameplay.
The server features some minor alterations to terrain generation through the use of the Terralith mod, along with various quality-of-life plugins that enhance the gaming experience. Some of these plugins include Lumberjack, Angel Chest, Advanced TP, Dynmap, and a claims system to help prevent griefing. Recently, the server has incorporated Geyser, making it accessible to players on all platforms, which broadens the community and engagement opportunities for everyone involved.
