StargateMC is a Minecraft server operating on version 1.12.2, based in Canada. It is designed for survival gameplay and is inspired by the Stargate Universe. The server offers players the opportunity to explore a massive array of worlds, with the ability to access up to 25,000 different locations using Advanced Rocketry FTL Ships or Stargates. This expansive environment allows for a variety of adventures, whether players choose to engage with the main narrative or create their own unique stories within the game.
Upon logging in, players can interact with the staff of Stargate Command and embark on missions to explore one of 1,000 randomly generated worlds in the Milky Way galaxy. Each world offers the chance to claim territory and build, all while facing challenges from the Goa’uld. Alternatively, players can venture to Pegasus and engage in battles against the Wraith. To experience this exciting gameplay, players need to download StargateMC from the Technic Launcher. It is also noteworthy that the promotional video available is out of date, as it pertains to an earlier version (1.7) and does not reflect the current features and changes that have been implemented since then.
